We are proud of our record in training apprentices at Westin Drives and several have progressed to managerial responsibilities. Most of our recruits undergo a mix of college day-release and on-the-job training.
As we are renowned in the industry for our expertise and experience in rewinding and repairing motors, we believe it is important that our young apprentices learn the key skills and processes involved.
The work calls for great care and a meticulous approach to detail. In the picture, Workshop Manager Steve Ormondroyd, himself a former apprentice, offers guidance on rewinding a small motor to apprentice Callum Moorhouse.
