Westin Drives nominated for four leading industry awards

Rising star nomination: Oliver Wilson

Westin Drives is delighted to have been nominated in four categories in the finals of the 2025 Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades annual awards. The categories are:

• Project of the Year: Diesel to Hydro-Electric Motor Conversion

• Service Centre of the Year : Quality Servomotor Repairs

• Contribution to Skills and Training

• Rising Star Award : Oliver Wilson

The AEMT says: 'The judging panel, which included independent experts, press representatives and our sponsoring companies, spent a great deal of time analysing, discussing, and scoring every entry, to deliver the shortlist.

'So, a huge congratulations for making it through this rigorous process and being selected as a 2025 AEMT Award Finalist in so many categories!'

Westin Drives was named winner in the Contribution to Skills and Training category at last year's 2024 AEMT awards. Our company was also a finalist in two further categories: Supplier of the Year and Service Centre of the Year.

These follow other successes in recent years. In 2018, Westin Drives was named AEMT Service Centre of the Year and its technical services manager, Adam Daffern, was a finalist in the Rising Star awards in 2022.

This year's winners will be revealed at the AEMT gala awards ceremony on Thursday, November 20.
