A customer required sensors and encoders retrofitting to four new pump sets, the sort of challenge on which our engineers thrive.
The motors were uncoupled from the pumps and dismantled before stub shafts were installed at the non-drive end to accept the encoders.

While they were being worked on, we fitted sensors to the coupling guards, which were firmly mounted to the pump.
The motors were reassembled, with the new encoders mounted on the fan cowl, and were then refitted to the skid.
To ensure optimum performance, the pump set was laser aligned.
