Refurbishing a 132kW fan motor for increased performance

This large fan motor was refurbished by Westin Drives engineers to improve its performance and reliability. The 132kW unit drives a fan from a recycling waste-to-energy site.

The process involved:

• Balancing the rotor to G2.5
