Rapid repair of WEG compressor motor

This 250kW compressor motor suffered a severe drive end bearing failure. The end shield was damaged rendering it unrepairable.

Thanks to our status as an authorised WEG service centre, the required part was shipped directly from WEG’s production plant in Portugal, ensuring a prompt turnaround.

Before fitting the new end shield, our team carried out essential work. This included repairing the drive end bearing journal, rotor balancing and fitting new bearings along with our usual comprehensive service.
