Happy outcome: A WEG motor coupled to Radicon gearbox

 A WEG motor coupled to a Radicon gearbox solved a problem for a customer in the glass recycling industry.

When failed industrial equipment arrives - it could be anything from motors and pumps to gearboxes and fans – our engineers give serious consideration to a repair before replacing it.

But this old SEW motor gearbox from a conveyor in the glass recycling industry arrived in very poor condition, though we have seen worse.

It was outdated and showed significant signs of wear and tear, affecting overall performance and reliability. Often such units are repairable, but on this occasion the mechanical damage was so extensive that a replacement was the logical option.

The new unit features a WEG motor coupled to a K-Series Radicon gearbox with a backstop mechanism, allowing it to rotate in only one direction for enhanced safety.
