Expert rewinding and repair of 55kW ac motor

Westin Drives repair engineer Wayne Smith puts the finishing touches to this 55kW ac motor.

The motor, which had been sent to us for repair, was rewound by one of our experienced team and special thermistors were fitted for each phase.

On inspection, it was found that the rotor shafts were worn, so these were metal sprayed by our sister company Westin Engineering.

The housing was checked and the motor is now ready for return to the customer.
