Engineers complete compressor motor overhaul

Atlas Copco compressor motors make regular appearances in our workshop and are overhauled as part of the service schedule.

In the case of this motor, the overhaul involved

• A full strip down and assessment and the balancing of the rotor to G2.5
  

• The fitting of the manufacturers service kit, including the special seal arrangement.
  

• Finally, a test run and conformance check before painting and last inspection.

The work was done to the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure top quality service and reliability.
