At Westin Drives, we are proud of our record in training apprentices, several of whom have progressed to managerial responsibilities. Most of our recruits undergo a mix of college day-release and on-the-job training.
As we are renowned for our expertise in rewinding and repairing motors, we believe it is important that our young apprentices learn the key skills and processes involved.
The work calls for great care and a meticulous approach to detail. In the picture, Workshop Manager Steve Ormondroyd, himself a former apprentice, offers guidance on rewinding a small motor to apprentice Callum Moorhouse.
